The Secret Garden has been almost completely funded by Wendy Whiteley, since she began creating it some 30 years ago. This greatly loved, internationally famous garden is unique for the fascinating way Wendy created it like a giant painting, a living artwork.
This treasured public garden needs continuous meticulous care, by a dedicated team of skilled gardeners.
Now aged 82, Wendy is anxious that the Secret Garden lives on in perpetuity, for everyone’s enjoyment and inspiration.
A garden Trust Fund has been established to help ensure Wendy’s work continues into the future. At present donations aren’t tax deductible but we are working towards achieving tax deductible status. In the meantime donations can be made to the following account
